1. Our commitment.

2. Recruitment and selection.

  • All vacancies we advertise are open to suitably qualified applicants regardless of background.

  • Job adverts and descriptions will avoid language or requirements that could directly or indirectly discriminate.

  • Candidate shortlisting, interviewing, and selection will be carried out against objective criteria relevant to the role.

  • Reasonable adjustments will be made for candidates with disabilities at every stage of the recruitment process.

Legal/security restrictions
In some cases, specific statutory or security requirements may mean that vacancies are restricted to certain applicants — for example, roles requiring UK nationality, Commonwealth citizenship, or a particular level of security clearance. Where such requirements apply, they will be clearly stated in the job description and will always be in line with UK law.

3. Our responsibility as an agency.

  • We will not accept or process job specifications from clients that are discriminatory or unlawful.

  • We will advise clients where a requirement may place them in breach of the Equality Act 2010 or other legislation.

  • We will actively promote fair treatment, diversity, and inclusivity in all recruitment activities.

4. Responsibilities of candidates and clients.

  • Candidates must ensure that the information they provide (such as CVs and application forms) is accurate and truthful, and should treat all staff and clients with dignity and respect.
  • Clients are responsible for ensuring that the roles they advertise comply with equality and employment legislation. Platinum Resourcing reserves the right to refuse to advertise vacancies that do not meet these standards.

5. Monitoring and review.

  • We regularly review our recruitment practices and policies to ensure compliance with UK equality legislation and to promote diversity in the workplace.

    Complaints or concerns regarding discrimination will be taken seriously and handled in line with our Complaints Policy.
