This is a Temporary role for approximately 3-4 months.
We are seeking a reliable and organised Warehouse Assistant to support day-to-day stock control and inventory operations. The role involves receiving, storing, and issuing materials while maintaining accurate records and a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming deliveries
- Store materials and equipment safely and in an organised manner
- Pick, pack, and issue stock to internal teams as required
- Maintain accurate stock records and carry out regular stock counts
- Ensure the warehouse area is clean, safe, and compliant with health and safety procedures
- Report shortages, discrepancies, or damaged goods promptly
- Assist with stock ordering and inventory management
- Support colleagues and other departments when required
Additional Information
- Previous experience in a warehouse, or inventory role (preferred but not essential)
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- High attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
- Basic computer skills, including spreadsheets or inventory systems
- Physically fit and able to lift and move stock safely
- Good communication skills and a team-focused attitude
