About the Role
A temporary opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse Technician to join a leading provider of specialised technical solutions. This role is crucial to ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse, with responsibilities including the preparation and organisation of equipment for deployment to various sites, maintaining equipment standards, and supporting logistical efficiency. This position is initially for a 3 month period but could possibly be extended.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborating with the resources team to prepare and organise equipment for deployment.
- Managing daily equipment preparation processes to ensure efficiency.
- Assisting with stock management, goods-in procedures, and inventory control.
- Loading technical equipment onto vehicles for transport.
- Supporting warehouse operations while adhering to health and safety regulations.
About You
This position is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and an interest in technical operations. The successful candidate will be comfortable working under pressure to meet deadlines and contributing to high standards in warehouse operations.
Essential Skills and Attributes
- Strong communication skills.
- A team-oriented mindset with a “can do” attitude.
- Ability to multitask and show initiative.
- Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting.
- A full UK driving licence (preferred but not essential).
