Our client is a specialist professional services organisation, and they are seeking a Technical Consultant in London. This is a permanent, full-time hybrid role working within a focused team that delivers document automation solutions for regulated financial, legal and business workflows.

The position suits a graduate who has one year’s experience in coding and development and can turn complex requirements into structured automation logic and practical templates. You will be supporting document automation across trading, reporting and regulatory processes, while also reviewing existing workflows to identify improvements and working closely with internal teams and senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and implement automation templates for regulated document workflows
  • Gather requirements and define scope with internal colleagues and senior stakeholders
  • Translate financial, legal or business requirements into structured automation logic
  • Build and improve templates using scripting languages such as JavaScript or Python
  • Review existing documents and workflows to identify opportunities for automation and process improvement
  • Contribute to automation projects, helping to deliver accurate and timely outcomes
  • Maintain accuracy, consistency and regulatory compliance across deliverables
  • Support communication and act as a trusted advisor during solution delivery

Experience required:

  • A graduate background with one year’s experience in coding and development
  • Strong knowledge of financial markets, or experience of legal document review, with an interest in learning about technology and finance (Advantageous)
  • Logical thinking, strong analytical ability, problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas clearly
  • Ability to interpret complex requirements and turn them into structured, logical solutions
  • Experience with, or willingness to learn, scripting or programming such as JavaScript or Python
